A comedy show couldn’t have come up with a funnier concept. According to Hartford police a toy cop decided to pull over the wrong man on Tuesday, an off duty police officer. 20-year-old Israel Gomez allegedly turned on red flashing lights, used a siren and loudspeaker to get the officer to pull to the side of the road. The officer called for real backup and police took Gomez and his fake partner into custody. Charges of impersonating a police officer, reckless driving, and improper use of flashing red lights were brought up on Gomez while his bogus sidekick was charged with reckless driving.
